* Last January, my sister was pregnant with triplets. All was well until she came to my brother's house one Sunday to watch a Colt's game. Just before the game started, my sister had the first of many bleeds. She thought she was loosing the babies and rushed to the hospital. That night, everything turned out to be fine, but only a couple of weeks later, Connie found out about other complications with her pregnancy. Connie joked that this year she would not go back to my brother's house to watch a game. Things are different this January, though. The Colts lost in the first round of the playoffs. More importantly, there have been no bleeds. Every time fear creeps up in my head, I have to remind myself that this year is not last year and will not be last year. Amen.
